Simi is shaking a table that has a lot of her close associates and a lot of Nigerians on it.
Simi has got something to say to her fans and admirers which is kind of the reality today, that they shouldn't idolize their pastors as they are not God.
The music star made this known via her Instagram page on Thursday, April 12, 2018, where went to admonish them to not live their lives to these men of God to make decisions for them.
"Guys, your pastor is not God. God has given you the power to communicate with him directly. He’s ur Father! Don’t let any pastor bully you into submitting out of fear to a God of love. Your pastor ‘might be’ anointed – but so are you!
"Seen a lot of people make OBVIOUSLY stupid, life-changing decisions because, “pastor said”. Some of these people, very close to me. We can’t leave our lives and choices in the hands of ministers when God has empowered us as'' she tweeted.
She didn't end it there, she adviced that there are genuine men of God who can help Christians live the right path.
"The genuine ones are teachers and spiritual leaders. They can help us learn and even become better Christians, but you should never idolize ur pastor. In God’s eyes, you are no less. Plus they are human beings and not infallible," she concluded.
Simi's latest thread on Twitter might be connected to the latest style which the today Christians behave towards the pastors in their churches.
It is no longer news that one celebrity who has always been of the school of thought of Christians shouldn't idolize their pastors is On-Air personality, Daddy Freeze. From calling out Pastor Adeboye on tithing to taking shots at Bishop Oyedepo on performing "unreal" miracles, Daddy Freeze has become a religious activist.
